Marsh with full moon
The moon is a beacon to my eye
High there above the Earth
Searching out each lonely soul
To bless them with rebirth.

Her soft light shines
And reinstills a whisper of magic
In frenetically beating hearts of need
Offering sanctuary from the sterile world’s leechy bleed.

Beneficent and cool is her kiss
Reminding us of times afar
When fairies danced in gentle marsh mist
And wise owls hooted their welcome to
each accompanying star.
